Amanda Hamilton to Host The Good Digestion Show, 28th Apr 2011

TV Celebrity & Nutritionist Amanda Hamilton has joined forces with the founder of the Good Digestion Show, Caroline Bramwell, to break down the taboo of talking about digestive and bowel disorders and is Ambassador for the event, giving a Keynote speech and being present throughout the show. The event is also supported by celebrity chefs Lesley Waters and Antony Worrall Thompson who will be giving live cooking demonstrations, using produce that would suit those with particular food intolerances, such as wheat, gluten or dairy.

Searching for the Lost Ostomates, 5th Aug 2010

A mother of two young children, who suffered debilitating Ulcerative Colitis for five years, and ended up having blood transfusions and underwent a ‘world first’ single-site keyhole surgery to remove her entire large intestine and rectum, has turned her experiences into a national event and campaign to reach out to others with stomas who do not have the support of a patient group or association (known as Lost Ostomates).
